Food and wine

So much depends on these 2 in our house. Not saying it’s always the conversation - we chat about lots of stuff - but the one conversation is about “what’s for tea?”!

And yes - we have tea at tea time. Dinner at dinner time and supper at supper time.

None of this lunch and dinner in our lands - makes it easier to lessen jargon as we head into the more important thing.

This weekend was laden with 3 amazing picks - 1 new one and 2 old friends.

Plus all under £10.

Perfect priced wine and none from any food superstore.

Each of these hit the mark and the new fins of Simsonig from the wonder Cape👌👌👌

Percheron and Viliera both amazing Shiraz and another cape and stellenbosch red.

Seriously good quality wines and paired with great veggies, mushroom, cheese, casseroles, beef, tofu and a host of other options.

The versatility of this wine, Shiraz / Syrah, makes enjoying even better. A bad paring puts you off the wine and if you’re chilling at home and just cooked - make it count.

Decide what food - then buy the wine.
