Italian time

I don’t tend to delve into Italian wines that often, but when I do I always ask why I don’t!

This bottle was a recommendation and highly praised by a friend - have to try and see.

Sangiovese is the grape and a big bold bugger which really has a fantastic taste and so versatile with foods.

December is here so it’s the season to empty the freezers and cupboards and refill them for the big day - you need a great wine.

It literally is seriously versatile and whether it’s a pork dish, pasta, deep rich meat - this one is the one.

Thursday slurp for me and one to test for the cheese board for Christmas.

Plus it’s a new one - wine is all about variation and enjoyment.
